Check the recipes on this blog http://thevegandiet.blogspot.com/ or if you don’t cook, some chinese restaurants sells vegetarian meals and they taste fantastic too.
Don’t worry, no vegetarians eat seafood (other than seaweed, of way).
As for weight loss, burn more calories than you eat and it doesn’t really matter what you eat. That’s it. Of way, for your shape, you should be eating nutrient-dense foods anyway.
As for the better body and flatter stomach, only exercise will do that for you.
I’m vegan and I found that without dairy/egg products weight came off quick. I’m not saying you should become vegan instead of vegetarian because its a personal extent and some people find it hard. But as a small-term thing I’m sure you could handle it. Reckon about it.. without eggs and dairy that means you can’t eat all the fattening things that are hard to stay away from: chocolate, icecream, cheese, cream cheese, pie, cake, covered with glue candy, milkshakes, many types of potato chips, etc. If you tell yourself you can’t eat any milk/egg products until you’ve lost the weight you want, it will probably be simpler than if you tell yourself well I could eat that piece of pie, but I shouldn’t because I’m trying to lose weight. You see what I mean? Once you start eating healthy it motivates you to exercise as well.. and veggies, fruit, nuts, and legumes are very healthy and YES you can overdo it but not to the extent you can eating milk/egg products. Congrats on cold meat out of your diet too! I’m not sure what the area you live in is like but I live more in a rural place, so for exercise I delight in hiking, rock climbing, swimming, or just walking by the side of many trails that are in my area. In a city it’s not quite as simple, but you can still go for a jog. Situps aren’t enough for weight loss, they’re just for toning, so do cardio to lose the weight you want, and use light weights and situps/pushups/squats to tone afterwards.
