I know thаt corporal acitivity drops amongst middle school students everywhere, bυt whеn I qυеѕtіοn mу students whаt thеу dο tο workout, thеіr аnѕwеr іѕ “nοt anything.” Mοѕt οf mу students know thаt I hаνе recently lost аbουt 40 pounds аnd thаt I wеnt frοm being “thick” tο “skinny”– I tеll thеm thаt I hаνе achieved mу weight loss mу diet аnd exercise. (specifically) 3- Dο уου rесkοn аnу kids wουld participate? (іf уου аrе 10-15, уου participation іѕ momentously appreciated!) 4- Whаt іѕ a name thаt isn’t offensive? Thе club wouldn’t bе јυѕt аbουt weight loss bυt healthier living. (i.e. diet, exercise, stress reduction, support, etc.) THANK YOU!!

1. A club would be an brilliant thought to help kids to lose weight. Many kids, mainly in that phase of their lives, are too shame or bone idle to figure out their own way to lose weight, or are too embarrassed to question their parents or peers for help. A club like this is more than apt.
2. I would recommend helping the kids develop an exercise plot and diet plot; as well as building awareness about what the consequences could be if they don’t incorporate a healthy lifestyle now.
3. With a bit of advertisement, yes I don’t see why some won’t. I know that I myself found it hard to accept what was incorrect with my in my middle school days out of dread of being judged. If this club can be supportive and long-distress of everyone, I see it as a fantastic place for teens to find common ground and support of people who are going in the same direction as them.
4. I was never fantastic with names, but I would imagine the name to be straightforward and serious.
Hope that helps. If it has any impact on my answers, I am 18.
Well I’m 15 and am in high school i to have lost some weight through diet and working out. But what i suggest for your students would be to question what sports or corporal activities they like to do like flag football, soccer, handball, basketball, hockey, etc.. but let them choose because, even at a young age they can tell use what they like to do. 1. you should question a doctor to come in to school and tell them the effects of being a small husky will do to them in the long run. 2. the lessons should be about literally their hearts, and organs and the effects of fatty foods on them. 3. the sports. 4. Club Shape or something
Excellent luck
Brilliant thought, I hope it works out. It would be a time consuming effort, I reckon, but well worth it.
I would definately try to include parents and local experts (doctors, mainly gastric bypass surgeons and cardiologists).
I would suggest focussing on activities and exercise, while including in rank about how to eat right. Have club activities, like hiking to the top of a local hill, rollerblading through the park, bike riding, basketball.
I don’t know it it’d work or not, but maybe have a pedometer for everyone and have a ladder showing whose walked the furthest, etc (maybe prizes?)
